About Tumbling Times

Owner Jody Wrenn

Owner Jody Wrenn

My name is Jody Wrenn, and I am the proud owner of Tumbling Times. Back in 1996, I launched Tumbling Times through local park districts, and by 2014, I realized my dream of opening a standalone facility to reach even more athletes.

As a former gymnast, I bring years of experience and passion to coaching. I'm married to my amazing husband, Matt, and between the two of us we have 4 kids, all of whom thrived in our gymnastics program. My daughter Becca especially excelled in the sport, becoming a true inspiration for my coaching journey. I’m dedicated to nurturing young athletes and fostering a community where everyone can excel and find their love for the sport.

Manager and Coach Lacey Wilson

Manager and Coach Lacey Wilson

Hi! I'm Lacey Wilson, and I'm thrilled to be the manager of Tumbling Times. As the cheerleading director, gymnastics team coach, tumbling team coach, and recreational class instructor, I bring passion and dedication to each role. I co-founded Fusion Cheerleading a decade ago, and it’s been amazing to watch our program grow.

Growing up as a competitive gymnast, I've dedicated my life to coaching and inspiring young athletes. I’m happily married to my wonderful husband, Mike, and we have two amazing children who have both thrived in our cheer and gymnastics programs. Our family’s involvement fuels my commitment to building a vibrant, supportive community where every athlete can shine.

Coach Molly Morris

Coach Molly Morris

Molly Morris is Sophomore at College of DuPage. She was a gymnast at tumbling times for many years and continued with gymnastics throughout her four years at Willowbrook High School. She has been with us now for two years and is currently coaching the Junior Bronze gymnastics team along with many other classes here. She really loves to work with kids and this is great experience for her future goal of becoming an elementary teacher once she graduates!

and I have been coaching with Tumbling Times since 2001! I was head coach of the Elk Grove Acrobats tumbling team for 10 years, as well as coaching the Hoffman Flyers gymnastics team, and the Starfire Cheerleading team. I co-founded the Fusion Xtreme cheerleading team in 2016 and it has been my honor to work with each and every athlete. I truly enjoy working with all ages, from preschool through high school and beyond! In 2023 we brought back the Fusion Tumbling Team, and I love being a part of the next generation of tumblers!

I was a competitive gymnast and college cheerleader, and both of my children have been a part of the Tumbling Times gymnastics and/or cheerleading program. The sense of friendship and family is what I love most! I look forward to continuing to foster great athletes, but more importantly, being a part of the lives of the amazing people that join our program.

Coach Heather

Coach Heather

I have been coaching cheer, tumbling and gymnastics for over 15 years. If not coaching, I am helping my own kids or on the sidelines cheering the loudest. I enjoy being outdoors or crafting. As many know, or will come to know, I am a Starbucks fanatic and have a cup to match almost every outfit. My passion in coaching is connecting with the kids and helping them achieve their goals. I tend to focus on not only mastering a skill but building a healthy mental approach to learning those skills along the way, as not all will be easy to gain. I look for a way for the kids to connect what is being asked with what they already know. I am firm believer of failure  being a means to being successful.

I coach recreational classes for ages 18 months and up, though if I had to pick a favorite, beginner 2 would be the winner as you start to see the basics advance to harder skills. I also coach our Bronze level for gymnastics Fusion team as well as our Novice 1-intermediate level for Elk Grove Acrobats tumbling team. I also do private lessons for all skills as well as dancers, high school and college levels of cheer.
